Mrs. Varee Patravanich, the director of Varee Chiangmai School, and the school committee with teachers and 48 students from International Programme attended panel discussion under the topic “ASEAN community: What, Why, How, How is it important?” in Chiang Mai University 5th International Day. Associate Professor Dr. Jakkapan Sirithunyalug, vice president for international relations and alumni affairs, Mr. Kazuo Shibata, Consul-General of Japan in Chiangmai, and Dr.Zhu Weimin, Consul-General of China in Chiangmai, has led the panel discussion to exchange opinions and statistics about trading relations between countries in ASEAN Community at seminar hall 2nd floor of Language Institute, Chiang Mai University, on Tuesday 9th August 2011.
