Exquisite Elegant Delicate Language Keeping the Heritage of Thai Originality Activities on National Thai Language Day

Mrs. Varee Patravanich, the director of Varee Chiangmai School, is honoured to welcome Dr. Jao Duangduen Na Chiangmai, the President of Thai Lanna Cultural Institute, as the president for the opening ceremony of National Thai Language Day arranged by Thai Language Department of Varee Chiangmai School. The event aimed to develop understanding and recognition of value and importance of using Thai Language appropriately with cultural aesthetic in Thai literature. Performance of “Thai Dramatic events, Language, and Thai cultural heritage” was carried out to present the elegance of Thai culture and literature. There was variety of shows including Thai literature reading from students who won Thai language skill competition from the week of Sunthorn Phu, live poetic lines from students. Nonetheless, students have had the opportunity to attend in the speech delivered by Dr. Jao Duangduen Na Chiangmai on the topic “Thai Language, Thai Culture and Thai Lanna Culture” as well as giving out certificates for the winner from Thai Language Skill Contest.
