With the collaboration from professional educators from California, USA, Varee Chiangmai School has organised seminars and workshops for Teachers Connect 2011 between 13-18th June, 2011.
Professional development is highly regarded at Varee Chiangmai School and teachers are encouraged to consistently seek new techniques and ideas for their teaching activities. Therefore, Teachers Connect 2011 has its objective to build up techniques to reach the global educational standards. The seminars and workshops are being led by the team of professional educators and group of college students of 14 members exchanging ideas and teaching strategies as well as classroom management techniques which are substantially useful for teachers. Annually the seminars and workshops have the core elements on the academic aspects, teaching techniques, and skills for English language. This year, with the variety of workshops such as techniques for students with special needs, techniques in teaching English for bilingual students, team building strategies, and English language for services, teachers and academic officers have gained innovated techniques and strategies that can be applied for practical use.
Furthermore, the team of Teachers Connect 2011 has spend their week teaching English subject for several classes at Varee Chiangmai School giving the students with opportunities to get involved in activities and practiced their English to communicate with professional educators. Given by these activities and opportunities offered by Varee Chiangmai School, students are consistently communicating with foreigners with confidence and precision.
